Six Sentence Sunday, July 24 (Taming the Darkness)
Green light flooded the world and she spun to face Victor and the nasty. Both of them were hurt, blood showing black in the nightvision. The nasty reached up with a hand the size of Victor’s head and dug its claws into his side. Victor howled but still didn’t let go. The nasty pulled him off and flung him away. Victor bounced off a tree and disappeared into the tall grass.

Wow! A lot of action packed into six lines here, and I’m wondering if Victor survives the whole thing, and you leave not doubt about the scariness of his opponent. Great six.
The nasty sounds, well, nasty. lol I wouldn’t want to meet one in a dark alley.
Great fight scene…and villain, as well. What is a nasty?
I love that you’re not pulling any punches in this! Great six.
This will not go well for Victor, I suspect.
I have no idea what a nasty is, but I would very much like to read a description of one 😉
Love how you describe the fight and give us a hint of the size and strength of the nasty.
