Six Sentence Sunday, July 10 (Darkness at Dawn)
Darkness at Dawn came out just over a year ago so I thought I’d share a little snippet this week:
She let go of him and lay down, smiling that dangerous smile of hers.
“I didn’t think you’d make it this far,” she said. “I thought you’d run away.”
He leaned over her and bent his head to her shoulder. “I don’t run away,” he whispered against her ear.
“Brave soldier.”

Sexy snippet, love the last line, too.
Happy anniversary! You just reminded me just how much sizzle that story has. More implied here than said, but we get the idea. Good stuff.
