Six Sentence Sunday, Feb 13
This Sunday I’m sharing more from Darkness at Dawn. I cheated just a little with an extra sentence:
The sunlight behind her turned bits of her hair into gold. His gaze wandered down from her hair, to her breasts, to the patch of hair between her legs.
His attention snapped back to her face when she asked, “Why don’t we just go our separate ways? There’s no reason to fight once the sun is up.” He noticed she had blue eyes, bright with intelligence.
“It’ll be one less thing to worry about tonight.” And still, he hesitated.

Very intriguing six (seven), Devin. 🙂
Something tells me they were doing more than “fighting” anyway.
Nice. I imagine he’ll keep hesitating.
That’s a definite hook. Gonna have to check this book out!
This is beautiful. I could see it, feel it. Excellent.
Somehow, I don’t think they’re gonna go their separate ways!
Nice set up – we know what’s next!
Gee, can’t imagine why he’s “hesitating.”
Nice descriptions! You’ve captured my attention. Must check out the book.
Were they fighting? Why is he hesitating? So many questions! Great 6!
I get the feeling they aren’t really gonna part ways so easily. 😉
Interesting. It’s almost like she doesn’t care that she’s naked.
Great six.
His hesitation has me hooked too.
He’s going to have to make up his mind soon!
Why the hesitation? Hmmm…
