Six Sentence Sunday, February 27
Happy Anniversary to Six Sentence Sunday!
This week, I’m posting something BRAND NEW! (which means not edited) Here’s a little taste of my current WIP, Erik’s Tale:
Erik had none of that. She reached out and took his gloved hand. His step faltered and he looked at her, the last light of the day catching him just enough so she could see his masked face. His fingers tightened on hers and she felt him tremble a little. She didn’t think it was from the cold.
“Let’s get back to the carriage,” she said quietly.
You can check out the other Six Sentence Sunday posts here: Six Sentence Sunday (This week, lots of people are giving away prizes, so check it out!)
Oh, carriage–historical–I’ll watch for this. Great six!
Very well done. I hope they get back in the carriage!
I’m intrigued! Great snippet.
ooh, and what will they do there I wonder?
A mask! Intriguing!
Yes, let’s go back to the carriage, please. 🙂
Oh, to be a fly on the side of the carriage. Maybe next week? 😉
great six!

Nice intro…what’s going to happen next?!
Intriguing! The mask and the carriage were real attention-grabbers.
A nice introduction to this piece. I look forward to reading more.
And …. ?!
Why is he trembling? Hmmm. I’ll be waiting for next week’s post to find out. Great six.
Great six, good luck with the writing Devin.
Is he a would-be highwayman? Intrigued.
Very sweet, such fragile emotion here.
Very subtle and terrific six.
Is he injured? Scared? Aroused? It makes us wonder, very good!
Trembling men? Ooooh, intriguing!
Wonder what got them into this position. Hope you post more next week!
O.O Is this a Phantom of the Opera story? Please tell me it’s a PotO story! Loved the six 🙂
Erik and a mask, plus a carriage…I am thinking Phantom of the Opera. Or highway man in a Regency. Or, Viking warrior. I am soooo curious now. Hope to read more.
Yes Seleste and Christa, it is Phantom of the Opera. 🙂 The plot is taking some interesting turns and I’m having such fun writing it.
ooo. so mysterious. I want to know more.
Interesting. I look forward to seeing where you go with this.
Oooo so many questions, so little time :)!!! Sounds very interesting!!

Very Suspenseful on a number of levels!
oh, a masked man, a carriage — reminds me of Dick Turpin 🙂 Nice six, and I hope she does get back in the carriage 🙂
Love the mask and want to know why he’s wearing it.
Fun and carriages! Love it.
Great six! I like it 🙂
Can;t go wrong with a carriage!
